This painting shows a dog with his owner, a boy I imagine to be around 12 years old. The dog stole several balloons from the beach balloon vendor, and you can see a few balloons got away. This is completely from my imagination, though the cliff landscape and beach are the same as I've experienced many times when I visited the Oregon Coast (I used to live in Oregon). Once I have a concept for a painting I usually like to sketch out many, many different compositions for the idea, but in this case I made it exactly like the original sketch.
Original oil paining, canvas mounted to heavy birch panel. 24" wide by 18" tall. Includes nice quality frame ( 30.5" x 24.5"). Please inquire to see frame. Also includes shipping.

I see a group of sailors on an old wooden ship plowing through a storm....
