The Reachers - Original oil painting by Daniel Jay Freed

This idea came from looking at a polished rock, believe it or not! If you look at the shapes and colors on certain types of natural rocks, you can see amazing things, like a mini landscape you can really imagine things into it. So in this case, I faithfully and carefully copied the shape composition, modifying it as needed to fit the rectangular format of a canvas. The colors are about 60% accurate to the actual rock, but I did change things. This was a tough one to do because it was so complex. I think of it as an abstract landscape. This is on high quality canvas mounted to heavy baltic birch panel. 20" wide by 14" tall. Price includes nice frame & shipping in continental USA.
