The Reachers - Available oil painting by Daniel Jay Freed. Oil on canvas. 20"wide by 14" tall. Framed. This idea came from a polished rock, believe it or not. If you look at the shapes and colors on certain types of natural rocks, you can see amazing shapes and colors, like a mini landscape from your imagination. So in this case, I faithfully and carefully copied the shape composition, modifying it as needed to fit the rectangular format of a canvas. The colors are about 60% accurate to the actual rock, but I did change things. This was a tough one to do because it was so complex.
